About STA-BIL
STA-BIL was introduced in 1958 and has spent more than six decades as a dedicated fuel-stabilizer brand, treating gasoline in cars, motorcycles, boats, generators, and small engine equipment. Gold Eagle Company, a family-operated performance-chemicals maker founded in Chicago in 1932, acquired STA-BIL in 1988 and has kept the core formula unchanged since, while growing the lineup from a single product into a full range of fuel treatments. Gold Eagle still manufactures and markets STA-BIL from its Chicago headquarters today.
