About Optimum Polymer Technologies
Optimum Polymer Technologies was founded in Memphis, Tennessee, in July 2001 by Dr. David Ghodoussi, an organic chemist who spent more than twelve years researching polymers and automotive paint formulations before starting the company. In 2006, the company introduced Optimum No Rinse (ONR), the original rinseless wash, built on a polymer encapsulation chemistry that lifts and suspends dirt so it can be safely wiped away with a fraction of the water a hose-and-bucket wash requires. Products are formulated and manufactured in Memphis.
The company's lineup has grown to include the Opti-Coat Pro line of professional ceramic coatings, installed through an authorized-installer network and built on Silicon Carbide chemistry for long-term chemical resistance, alongside sprayable waxes, polymer sealants, leather and interior protectants, and compounds and polishes for paint correction.
