About Gtechniq
Gtechniq was founded in 2001 by Dr. Drew Gill, a quantum physicist who set out to build paint protection that actually outperformed the paint it sat on, after finding the waxes, polymers, and PTFE-based products of the era offered no meaningful durability. That background in how forces and structures behave at very small scales became the basis of the brand's nanochemistry and supramolecular-chemistry approach to coating design. The company's first European headquarters opened in King's Langley, UK, in 2006, and it expanded into North America with an Atlanta, Georgia operation in 2016. Gtechniq has run an Accredited Detailer Network since 2011 and is ISO certified.
The Gtechniq catalog covers ceramic coatings, wash products, sealants, interior treatments, and glass and metal care for cars, with dedicated marine and cyclist product lines added in 2020 and 2022.
