U-POL has been manufacturing automotive refinish and repair products since 1948, and today the company is headquartered at Christchurch House in Wellingborough, England. Its coatings, fillers, primers, and accessories ship to more than 100 countries, and the company built its reputation supplying professional body shops before its DIY-oriented product lines, including the Raptor bed liner system, expanded onto Amazon and into general retail. In 2021, U-POL was acquired by Axalta Coating Systems, a major global coatings manufacturer, which folded U-POL's refinish and protective-coating catalog into its own aftermarket portfolio.
