Husky Liners was founded in 1988 by Robert "Bob" Tyler in Winfield, Kansas, originally operating as Winfield Consumer Products. The company grew fast enough in its first decade to land at #445 on Inc. Magazine's list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in 1998, backed by 706 percent sales growth between 1993 and 1997, and it earned ISO 9001 certification in 2000 as its manufacturing scaled past $30 million in annual sales. RealTruck acquired Husky Liners in 2016, and in June 2023 the company moved its primary manufacturing operation roughly a thousand miles east, from the original Winfield, Kansas plant to a new, more heavily automated facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where its flagship product lines are still built domestically from globally sourced materials.
